I purchased this item because I broke my left ankle years ago. As a result I’m developing arthritis in the area and my ROM is limited. This is a big impediment when trying to do any type of squatting motion. Blocks under my heals have been ineffective partly because I can’t get bone thick enough and when I do I always seem to kick it out of place. This unit has solved the problem. The angle is adjustable. The foot rest area has a rough surface that keeps the feet from slipping and it comes with a rubber mat to place under it to keep itv from sliding. The unit is heavy and of solid construction. I weigh 230 lbs and it supports my weight easily. Five stars all the way around!

This is a must-have for absolutely everyone. Achy back, tight hamstrings, knee pain, ankle instability- all can be traced to tight calves. Having separate units, vs the wooden slant board, gives you the ability to stand with feet hip-width apart vs close together. It also allows you to widen the stance and invert for a deeper squat. Now that I have these, I find myself stretching much more often throughout the day because it’s as simple as stepping into the platforms and holding the stretch.
