This is my first squat rack. I’m using it with a PowerBlock bench.I measured before purchase, I suggest you do the same. The spotter bars work fine for my bench, guarding my head from accidents/drops. You should note that you cannot adjust the height of the spotter bars (which is why you should measure beforehand).I downgraded the item for “ease of assembly”. It is easy to initially put together, but it is a little bothersome to adjust its height and width. You use large screws and if you’re a little off they won’t go.The dip bars (as others have mentioned) are useless.Benefits: best price I found for a starter bench (rated 300 pounds) that had decent spotter bars. It is more stable than the cheaper two piece racks I looked at.Currently, I’m a happy buyerUPDATE: Still using these regularly, no problems noted. I’m hindsight, the two separate stands might have been better (although not as stable) for my bench. This doesn’t work well with my bench for things like incline bench press (bench doesn’t fit with the rack’s cross bar). Still a worthwhile purchase tho
