Great product! Great company. Reached out to customer service on a few occasion and always received immediate responses and even assistance with install. So glad I spent the extra money on the PRx compared to the other options for the ease of use and great product!

This thing was a beast to put together. The instructions it came with weren’t helpful or detailed at all. We got through it thanks to the install video the company created. Also, make sure you have a 15/16th indrive socket and wrench. We had to drive to Lowe’s because the biggest we had was a 13/16th.

I saw this PRX folding weight rack and pullup bar on Shark Tank and thought it was cool. Now that I have it installed in my garage, I think it is even cooler. Sturdy construction material and a quality product. Did have to hire a construction expert with tools and mechanical know how to help install it.

I received this quickly and it was simple to install. This unit is built very well and just solid. It has given back so much space my garage.

I purchased directly from PRx, but prefer to find and leave reviews on Amazon. I went for the kipping bar version, not because I do that, but simply because I like how it gets you further out from the wall. it also seems to add rigidity to the rig. Install was fairly easy and while not recommended, can be done alone. Use safety pins, clamps, 2x4s, whatever you got to keep it sturdy until its fully installed. That said, once installed, its way more solid than you’d expect. I don’t move large amounts of weight yet but I’ve loaded it just to see how it would handle. If you lift alone, get the spotter arms. They can be installed and used for bench and squats, or whatever else you’d need them for. Included J-cups are good. It moves easily up and down, but even when down its so low profile I only push it out of the way when I need to do something else in the space. My entire set up is only an 8×10 space but can fit wall mounted plates and bar, the rack, and a bench all while having room to do the common big lifts. Of course more space would be nice, but I would find less hard to work in.Shipping was a little on the slow side, even for such heavy equipment. I had a full set of plates delivered 3 days sooner, it weighed nearly twice as much, cost the same in shipping, ordered on the same day. It seemed to be stuck in processing (maybe they build these to order?) for a few days too. Items were packaged ok. Some boxes we damaged but the finish was still top notch (other than the kipping bar which seemed they missed a spot when applying the texture.)Overall I do like this rack quite a bit. Its one of those things I’ll only buy once so I figured I’d go with the most interesting, fast, and compact option. That said the price is high. There is less steel. There are fewer welds. The paint is good, but certainly not flawless. 4 gas shocks in bulk can’t cost more than $10 each. So you are definitely paying a large premium for this unique design. You can get a Rogue RML-3WC with 3×3 tubing, also made in America, in any color, and at $150 less than the matching PRx config in with 2×3 black tubing. Or you can roll the dice and get super cheap with a REP or Titan at less than half the cost of the PRx. Hard to say if I would change my mind since most of these folding racks aren’t found in stores.

Husband just installed it a few weeks ago. It’s a major upgrade from what we were using. This thing takes up no space and is super easy to use. There’s installation videos since the paper directions can be confusing and wrong in some parts. Great quality though!

If you want a quality rack for a home gym and don’t want to or can’t afford to give up space, PRx is the way to go. Great product, great customer service, and a company that has their priorities straight. Definitely have another person help with installation.
