this is a solid, single piece of metal that serves it’s purpose extremely well and looks good doing it! i have a hot pink barbell and pink/purple weights so i had to get the red hanger (i mean pink or purple would have been better but such options don’t exist!)

This hanger is more that beefy enough to hold a 45 lb Olympic Bar. I attached it to my smith cage so the bar is close by, but out of the way. The hardware included is more than enough to attach the hanger to a stud through the drywall. I went to the hardware store and purchased machine thread button head hex bolts and tapped two holes in the smith cage.If I had any complaint it would be that the pad is a little cheap and skimpy at less than 1/16″. I’d prefer at least an 1/8″ pad, if not 1/4″.
