I gotta hand it to this thing, it’s been holding three 45 lb plates on the regular for a couple weeks now and hasn’t broke a sweat. It comes with the bolts needed to mount it and a pad to keep plates from clanging against your wall, too. I mounted mine low to the floor, in case it did fail the plates would only fall about 2 inches at most, but honestly it wasn’t necessary. Great, super sturdy plate storage right here. Definitely recommend it.

This weight plate holder is an excellent addition to our home gym, giving the area a cleaner look with less stuff on the floor. I installed this wall mount at about waist height for easy access and to reduce strain when adding plates to the bar.This product requires the proper tools to mount it correctly. A powered drill with the correct-sized bit is needed to fit the metal brace inside the stud. Reading the instructions is the only way to ensure this is installed correctly, so take your time; it’ll be worth it.Although very well made, I recommend purchasing this product in pairs to avoid putting too much weight on a single mount.

Ordered this for some extra organization in my basement gym. Once mounted, it’s extremely sturdy and is able to handle a pair of 45s without a problem. I mounted it directly to a stud; I have exposed studs in my basement. I drilled pilot holes before, since these giant lag screws would likely split the 2×4 studs without having a pilot hole. But, the screws are huge and do a great job of holding this steady once installed. My 2″ plates slide smoothly off and on. Really happy with the quality and functionality of it!

Pretty good plate holder for the price. I got this as an extra plate holder just in case, so it does not hold much weight. However, it seems to be pretty stable and have had no issues thus far.
