We put this up in our basement where we have an exercise space. VERY sturdy and works great for pull ups, just hanging. Attached a pull up assist strap so I can build up to greater strength. I can recommend this!

Great design- one of the only bars I found that was spaced perfectly for the trusses in my garage ceiling. This meant I could hit the framing on all four bolts without having to first attach a 2×8 to my ceiling (like I had to do for the other bar in my photo! ). This makes it super functional because it’s snug to the ceiling. We’ve hung rings and bands off of it with plenty of vertical space to move around.Great value for the money and I recommend it highly. It’s really helped me get some practice in on my Kipling pull ups between gym workouts. It’s super heavy duty- I feel like an elephant could hang on this thing and it wouldn’t move an inch! It’s actually just me and my kids so I guess that’s good. ;)It comes mostly assembled- you’ll just have to attach the crossbar. I recommend installing one vertical bar on your ceiling, then assembling it, and then booting up the second vertical post.

The media could not be loaded.Great quality and metal thickness, super solid!. I recommend wrapping it with meister stickElite tape.Very ergonomic with different positions.

Disclaimer – it has not gotten much use yet. The lag screws they provided are not the best and are quite long. I installed a 2x behind the joist so that the lags wouldn’t stick out. While installation was fairly easy, the instructions were fairly weak. You likely want to use a level. The phillips head on the lags strip out quite easily. Count on using a wrench/rachet to tighten it down.Overall I am fairly surprised how sturdy it is… at least for now. I am 230 on a skinny day… no issues nor concerns when doing a pullup.

I love the bar but wish it could be adjusted a little bit lower to better accommodate my garage ceiling.
