This bar is very heavy duty, the mounting hardware is good, and the welds and powder coat look great. It was kind of a challenge to mount though, because you really need an impact driver to sink the wood screws, and most of them are directly behind the bar, so there’s no way to get a straight shot with an impact driver. I only managed to get the screws partway in with an impact and a flexible extension. I ended up having to use a long-handled ratchet and an 11mm socket to get the screws all the way in. There are also no instructions, just a parts list. It is fairly self-explanatory, but in case you didn’t know, you will need to pre drill holes for the screws, no matter what you’re mounting to.

This thing is awesome. I got this wall-mounted pull-up bar for my home gym, and I’ve been using it non-stop.Setup was easy. I had it mounted to the wall in under an hour with just a drill, a socket set, and a level. Everything you need comes in the box, and once it’s up, it’s rock solid. Doesn’t wiggle or move at all. It comes with heavy duty bolts for wood beam installation, or expansion bolts for concrete installation.I really like the versitility of the product—there are hooks for resistance bands, spots for grip training, and the different grip positions to focus on different muscle groups. I’ve used it for pull-ups, rows, stretching bands, and even some TRX workouts. The whole thing feels heavy-duty and well-made. You can tell it’s built to last and super functional. If you’re looking to upgrade your home workout setup, I’d totally recommend this. Way more than just a basic pull-up bar.

It took a little while to get my husband to hang this pull-up bar for me in a place so it was going to be safe and sturdy. However, he did get it assembled above the door of our bedroom on the outside. it came with all of the hardware to hang it, It was super simple. My son really wanted to pull a bar and this one is fantastic, it works for everyone in the house. We put the band on it for the kids and yes I am a bit nervous of them flying up and hitting their head but that hasn’t happened. It is so awesome for in home workout equipment. The price is way reasonable for this heavy duty pull up bar! You get a wide range In positions also!

I ordered this pull up bar to round out our home gym. It’s perfect. It’s extremely well made, heavy duty, and functions very well for a variety of uses. I like that I can attach my bands to it in addition to using it for pull up exercises. I also like using it to get a good stretch. All the parts were included and install was easy, but please follow recommendations for mounting safely! The screw hole placing would have been better if it was the standard width between studs. You can get around this by using a board that spans the width of your studs and then mounting the bar to that. If you have the proper place to mount this, I definitely recommend it!

Things I should have considered before purchasing:- Where am I going to put this? Oddly, most of the doors in my house are close to the corner of a room, and there isn’t enough room for the bars to stick out… Luckily, the master closet door is in the middle of a wall and ended up being a good location.- How tall are my doors??? I have 10-foot ceilings and 8-foot doors. Add in the trim and the mounting plate, this puts the bar at roughly 8.5 feet. I can personally reach to just over 7 feet… I need a stepstool to get to the bar!House logistics aside, I do really like this pull-up bar. The construction is excellent, and it is very sturdy. The mounting holes are, to me, at slightly odd spacings since none of the holes are 16″ or 24″ apart, meaning you could only get it into one stud. For this reason, it had to go somewhere with a good cross-beam, like a doorway. So, the hole spacing is probably my one complaint. Also, you’ll probably need to use a socket ratchet to make it easier, since the top row of holes is behind the bar.

This pull-up bar is the real deal—super sturdy and well-built. The fully welded steel frame feels like gym-quality gear, and the powder-coated finish gives it a clean, durable look. I love that it can support up to 500 lbs, which gives me total confidence during workouts. The grip variety is awesome—wide, narrow, neutral, and hammer grips let you hit different muscle groups without needing separate equipment. I haven’t installed the rubberized grips yet since they’re easy to add later, or you can leave them off if you prefer the raw bar feel. The bar thickness feels just right for my hands. The extra rings for resistance bands or TRX-style straps are a great touch. Adds a lot of training variety. I temporarily mounted it on an old den frame but will move it to a better location soon. The 6-hole mount is very secure and comes with all the hardware you need for a solid wall or wood beam.As someone around 5’8″, I found the spacing and angle super comfortable—not too wide or narrow—and there’s plenty of space from the wall for full range of motion. If you’re looking for a long-lasting, heavy-duty pull-up bar setup, this one’s a winner.
