Who knew that this pull-up bar could be the ultimate source of both muscle gain and endless entertainment? This pull up bar turned my garage into a personal fitness center. My whole family loves it. Installation was easier than trying to assemble furniture from IKEA. It is rock solid and sturdy. This wall-mounted pull-up bar is not just for fitness – it’s an absolute fun!

I like the product. It’s hard to find a sturdy pull-up bar that doesn’t require you to get an all-out freestanding bar and dip station setup and this does the job. As my picture (sorta) shows, the welded on tabs provide you an attachment point to make your own pulley & cable setup so you can create your own cable machine using them. Nice feature. BUT KNOW THIS, it seems to be designed only to mount on a concrete or block wall using just what comes in the box. If you want to mount it on a stud wall in an American house, you will need to bolt it to some kind of platform like I’ve done in the picture. This is because the mounting brackets are about 19” apart — meaning there is no way to mount them directly to 16” on-center studs. So you will need additional hardware, lumber and know-how other than what comes in the box to install it in your typical garage or workout room. It’s doable but a bit of a pain to engineer it all so that it doesn’t pull off the wall when you try to use it. Would be better if they put it on a 32” wide base that had three mounting plates so you could attach each one to a standard spaced stud — or even some kind of floating base setup so that the mountain plate spacing could be shifted according to your wall.

The media could not be loaded.I really like the pull up bar it is sturdy. I attached it to a concrete and brick wall . I used title boxing speed bag masonry kit. Which has lag screws and lag shields. I used a 5/8 masonry bit to drill in the concrete and put a 3/8 lag shield in the 5/8 hole the screws go into the lag shield. Everything is tight and sturdy and watched tool would help you .
