The pull up bar is pretty much perfect. Multiple ways to do pull ups. It can withstand my weight (250lbs) but I would make sure the door frame it’s on is strong enough too. It peels the paint off the top of my door when I put it on.

I love this pull up bar. I’m still progressing on being able to do a pullup, but as I’m progressing, it is great for increasing my grip strength, and it feels SO GOOD to just do a dead hang (which was harder to do than I expected!) and just let my spine decompress! There is nothing to assemble, it is ready to go out of the box. It fits perfectly on my door, and feels very secure. I love how it folds and hangs in my closet so it’s not taking up any room at all when it’s not in use. I thought it was a great value for the money.

I’ve had this for almost a year now and it’s worked out really well for me.I’m about 170 lbs and my main concern was potential damage to the door frame or molding but no damage has come from using it about 3 days a week with 3-4 sets of 7-8 reps. There’s just been two 1-inch wide spots on the top of the door molding that have darkened a bit, but you couldn’t see them unless you stood on a step stool and specifically looked for them as it’s a surface that’s 7 feet high and facing upward toward the ceiling.

This works great for my 220lb body. I was a little nervous about how the wall and door frame would handle it but I didn’t have any problems with it. I like that it collapses for out of the way storage. It is easy to hang up and take down. Only problem is I’ve left it up and forgot about it and ran right into it, but that’s not the bars fault. 😉
