I went through many reviews of different machines similar to this one and decided to purchase this one based on other reviews and value for your money. Putting it together was not hard, power tools, wine, and handy husbands help speed up the process. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and love it. I’m 5’9” and my husband is 6’1” and we have no problems with the squat rack. Yes, it’s true we have to bend down some as others warn but it’s not the end of the world. If we had additional room we could lift the machine and prop it up like others have. We are just maxed out to our ceiling. I’m able to go into my basement, knock out a killer workout and never leave home. It’s built well! Shipping did get delayed a couple times. Once was on the shipping company as it was stuck in Chicago, second delay was due to weather in our area.

My husband is really pleased with the equipment. It offers a lot of features at a price that makes it accessible for a home gym. Nothing on the machine is top tier quality and the assembly is miserable. However, everything works and nothing was damaged during delivery. We were actually surprised to receive it and everything in the boxes be not scratched and not dented. The machine might not be great if you are very tall, but raising the height of the machine might make it not fit in most garages/homes. Also you will probably need to buy some extra accessories to do your workout routines. We find the machine to be extremely stable and smooth even with the weights on the bars.

When I got the 4 boxes of equipment. It was missing critical parts for steps 2 and 3. It took a few weeks for some of the parts and 3 months to get the rest.***Assembling***Once I got all the pieces. It did take some time to assemble. I was not in a rush. Do not tighten the bolts all the way until you have the pulley system and cables assembled. Or else you will be loosening parts to get it all to fit right. Take your time to do it right the first time. Look carefully at the diagram.*** Working out***Works as it should. As long as you do not overtighten the pulley bolts, it will be smooth. The only complaint is the holes for the squat rack area could have a few more higher to fit people taller than 5’5″. If you do squats with smith machine. Not an issue since bar does go up tall enough for most. Rack seems stable for anything I will do. I am not power lifting anymore. Do not care if it can hold more than 300 pounds. I bought this so I can avoid having to wait to use equipment at the gym. In case we go through another lock down, I am covered. For the price, it is worth it.

Machine is great. Very sturdy and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Only thing which I guess there is not getting around is the bench. The bench is great for everything except for flat chest press. The wedge In the seat is huge and I have to fill it in with a towel. Thinking about getting an additional bench for flat which kind of stinks but I guess there is no getting around it . Overall a great machine and I would recommend

First off see a lot of people complaining about the power cage section not having enough holes for anyone over 5’2” it’s a smith machine.. that you can squat with or bench or several other things.. as it’s designed and advertised as. Great product for the price. Took me alone about 5 hours some parts can be difficult by yourself but can be done.Good luck. Only complaints are the cable instructions are little wacky on the different bolt lengths and locations… I’d give it 95 out of 100 so far been using for about a week. I’ll keep you all posted if as I progress.
