TL:DR5 Stars for Bike- silent- doesn’t use breakable gas shockBackground:————————Okay, so this review is weird. I have been using the core design for a LONG time and the biggest issue isthe timer/speedo etc. The style of this bike is used with sellers all over Amazon and prices vary, but quality does not.Bike Display and Ride Information:————————Previous bikes that I used with this archetype had issues with the display breaking way before the bike does. With the exception of only two that I have used, the speedo, and odometer are WILDLY broken.Some of them are up to 16 mph in accurate (Sorry I am not pedaling over 30mph, I got lucky with this one and it worked.THIS IS BRILLIANT:————————The display is not connected to the bike, but is attached with a cord that can be set on top of your desk. The reason I actually switched from a Peloton to this bike is a combination of the bike’s weight and its stupid huge screen you can’t take off.With this I can just unplug the display, leave it where it is, and swap the bike with my chair! If I want to bike I just pull out the chair, lumber around and put the bike under the desk, then plug it back in.Everything Else:————————- It doesn’t have a gas shock type of seat lift mechanic, so if you are heavy or practice heavy use and wear these things out you don’t have to toss the bike because its shock bottoms out after wearing out.- Resistance; I don’t know if this is really magnetic or not, but it is effectively silent compared to most bikes of this style, and the lever is much more solid. I assume the resistance part of this bike is one of the things that makes it so much more expensive than the others that use the core pedal assembly. It is quieter than a Peloton.- Seat is firm, too firm to use without pads, but if you do use a pad it actually works better because the pad will not slide, nor will it flatten out. It is big enough to use an office chair seat pad, which I prefer.- Arms; these are not essential and don’t have to be installed. Which is a nice thing because I prefer to not have them on.- It is much heavier than other bikes using this pedal assembly you see on Amazon. Maybe by about 50%, though it might be my imagination. It is still pretty lightweight compared to a Peloton, but having rolling coasters to move the bike would have been an improvement.

I bought this to work and exercise at the same time. 100% recommed.pros:- Easy to put together.- Sturdy- Big comfy seat so it does hurt to sit on for long periods of time.- The handles fold up for easy access off and on.cons:- You do have to tighten the bolts and pedals regularly. They come loose from the biking but it’s not a big deal. I just keep the tools that came with it next to the bike.- The handles for it while nice to rest your hands on and fold up and down, if you increase the leg resistance, using the handles doesn’t quite work because they fold up so you can’t really counter the resistance if they makes sense.Other than some really simple things, it’s a great bike for what it is for.
