This thing works really well. It is lightweight and feels solid — I have been pleased with how easy the whole setup has been. My mother in law is using it to exercise her legs and keep her strength. I recently started using it to help with my shoulder, so it very versatile.

1. There’s a reason why one Bike Pedal Exerciser costs more or less than another. This is another evidence of the same.2. This comment with the number 2 has nothing to do with this product. It’s a comment about all indoor bikes. There’s a reason why many indoor bikes come with a handle. It’s not comfortable without a handle. So, I hold the chair where I’m already sitting while I watch TV but holding my chair is not something I dislike though because of the price, :-)3. I’ve been using it every single day since it arrived. I do have to tighten the screw every other day or so since it loosens up. I don’t mind doing that at all, yes, because of the price, :-)4. I don’t look at the monitor at all and so I can’t comment on it.5. Yes, the mat keeps it in place but I don’t use it since I’ve a rug that keeps this in place as well.6. This is a comment about all similar bike pedal exercisers and not at all just about this one alone. Most (including this one) bike pedal exercisers are too close to the ground that some people might feel their feet are touching the ground. My feet don’t touch the ground but not everyone is my height.
