This was a little tricky to assemble, but the instructions sort of make that clear, instructing you not to tighten certain sections so you have maneuverability to get it properly situated. Disappointingly, not all of my weights fit on this rack, but I didn’t measure for that so maybe that’s on me. For instance, small, 2 lb weights may not have handle sections long enough to sit in the rack pieces. If you mostly have larger weights you’ll likely have no problem. My 5 lb weights and up all sit just fine. And I like the pop of blue.

These are great for my 10-25# dumbbell assortment that I have. This rack reminds me of the ones the gym and are easy to get weights in and out. This is an improvement over a smaller rack I had for my coated small weights that make it hard to get in and out. The assembly was simple and the rack is very heavy duty and stable. Like that it has soft feet that won’t mark up the floor. Good coating of paint and appears to have well made and built to last.

I got this rack to replace a lower and wider rack I’ve had for years. My complaint with my last rack was mainly the space I needed to use it in wasn’t great for it’s shape – but also by comparison to this rack, it didn’t have the cradles like this so it wasn’t good for neoprene covered weights and the spacing between levels was too close.So let’s get into this one. First off, it comes with everything you need to put it together. If I include the unboxing and looking at all the parts and quick instructions before assembling – it was about 15 minutes end-to-end to get this out of the box, laid out and inspected and then assembled with 1 person . They include the Allen key and a hex wrench used to fasten all 12 bolts with hex nuts.I got the blue coating and it looked good and no chips or scratches on it that I noticed with a quick inspection! Once you fit together the pieces and fasten them down you’re all set! No need to assemble or install the feet on the bottom or those cradle inserts!For my rack, the heaviest set of non-coated weights I have are 35lb hex dumbells at the bottom. Thankfully the spacing at the botton and next level is more than my last rack. This allowed me to easily fit a rubber-coated 25lb above the 35lb bare dumbell on one side. And on the other it’s a 20lb neoprene coated dumbell. Neither touch the 35lbs below them.Mid-level I have a set of 15lb rubber coated hex dumbells and there is a little contact with the 20lb neoprene below on the 1 side but not bad. And I’m assuming most people likely have consistent pairs of weights and won’t have that concern. Above those 15’s I have 10s and then 5’s with plenty of space between each of those levels.Fully loaded this stand feels super stable! I like how they leave the center of the bottom of the rack open. You could technically stow more weights under there but I just put foam rollers and it fits 2 under there with a little contact on my 35lbs at the bottom.The top wasn’t designed for storage but I checked and it was too wide of a surface to rest my 5lb oe 3lb neoprene weights up there but I just toss my ab-matt up there because why not… keeps it out of the way.All in all, I like this setup much more for the weights I have and it gives me a couple more inches of floor space back when compared to my wider and lower weight rack.For $60 I am very happy with this price and what I got and my initial impressions. I don’t anticipate the inserts on the cradles to break but I suppose if you were really rough with setting a weight back, those could take damage but it’s nothing I’m worried about!
