This is a good and sturdy bench. Strong and well made. Easy to put together. However, it would be a perfect bench if the adjustment point was below the curl pad NOT beneath the seat. Due to this setup, those with longer arms will not be able to use this bench because, when fully extending your arms, the curl bar will hit the top of the bar frame. My arms are ALMOST too long. Another half inch and I would NOT be a happy customer. No, I’m not a monkey! =)~ All this would be avoided if they had simply placed the adjustment point below the curl pad. FORTUNATELY, I AM a happy customer!!! Heh-heh. But they get 4 stars (not 5) due to bad packaging, which resulted in my bench having several areas of paint scraped off of it. But it does come with a little bottle of silver paint. Wow. Good on them! 🙂

I’m 6 foot tall, 210 pounds, with 18 inch pipes. This supports me and the weight that I need to lift to maintain those pipes. It’s very stable. I recommend it.

For me (I’m 6′-2″) the positioning is just right for arm work. Comfortable padding and, while not quite full on gym quality, this bench is sturdy enough for a home gym. In my view, the best lower priced preacher curl bench out there.
