This works great as a compact option for both abs and hyperextension. It’s also easy to fold up and pack in the closet if that’s your thing. I didn’t feel like spending double the price on the next similar thing, so I went with this despite the reviews and while I understand them, any workout gear you buy on Amazon is going to require assembly. I thought this was pretty easy honestly. It does have the usual give/slight wobble of most at-home workout benches at this price point, but it seems sturdy to me, a 200 lb male. Just make sure you you TIGHTEN those bolts, and it’s solid.
