Prof. Elta Walter Jr. –
I needed a garage bench to be compact but meet all specifications of a real bench you would find in a gym. This bench exceeds all standards and is very easy to put together. It takes about six inches off the garage wall when in the storage position. I have the PRX Pro system and goes perfect with the concept of Using minimal space in the garage. This is a must to buy!!!!

I like this bench a lot, but there are a few things you should know. For me, it’s plenty sturdy, but it’s rated for up to 600 pounds only. I think that’s because one end is cantilevered, so if you’re a big guy pushing a lot of weight, you might have an issue. The other issue is the fact that the seat doesn’t tilt, so when the bench is horizontal, the seat tilts up a little. I prefer to lie backwards on the bench when it’s horizontal, using the seat as a headrest. Also of note, when you raise the incline, the seat slides back on a long bar, which ends up between your legs. It’s not a problem, but it is unusual. I’ve attached pictures of mine both horizontal and fully upright. Finally, plan on spending a while putting it together. It comes in quite a few pieces.
