These are great wraps. Build quality is very good, the Velcro is long and grabs hard. You can get a real good crank on these for just about any weight. Personally I do prefer heavier wraps once I’m over the 405lb range, I will be purchasing the new heavier slingshot wraps when the time comes. I have broken both of my wrists in the past so a little more support goes a long way for me. These are excellent wraps and are versatile. Would buy these again!

Quality of the product itself is AWESOME. Compared to the original Gangsta Wrap (Blue and Red), what changed is the material for sure. The material of the wrap softened up a lot the strap part with “GANGSTA” writing became cheaper material. I don’t mind but simply stating. The wrap is better than the previous one as the wrap is softer but still got the firm grip.The product I received had some color change at the edge and had some unfinished stitches or something like that leaving the strap part being a bit torn. It does not effect the performance part of the product. Please do better quality control.Overall, I do recommend the product to anyone interested in lifting. Awesome product.

Awesome wraps! You don’t need to wrap them tight from the thumb hole! That is only there to set the wrap in place. You can start pulling it tighter after you wrap it over it around once. I don’t pull it tight until the last wrap and it will cut off circulation to my hand if I pull it too tight. You can make them as pliable or stiff as you want. The Thumb hole ripping is user error.

I hesitated because of the price of these. I have the sling shot hip band and know the quality, so I bought these. I actually use it for my knee (don’t like the patellar wraps) and it is great. Doesn’t move around and makes a huge difference during workouts. I can even do lunges with it. My friend tried one for her knee and bought them as well.
