Good cheaper alternative to the viral ones. They held 90lbs no problem and I’m confident it could do more. I’ve used them with powerblock pros (read below for the caveat) and regular old school adjustable dumbbell handles which these are perfect for.The kit includes a couple wrist straps which are useless but they are good because they can be used to fully lock the dumbbells to the brackets they rest on.For the adjustable handles; lift off was easy, re-racking was easy, and it allowed me to squeeze out an extra rep because I could start from the top. You basically clamp the fabric strap to your dumbbell handle so you’re locked in.There are some rubber tips to that did not stay on: if you didn’t want to scratch your dumbbells or barbell you might want to super glue them on because they kept popping off.For the power blocks; I had to hook the bracket to the bottom support bar so I had no control on the bracket after lift off. I was able to re rack but it was sketchy and if your close to failure it could be a safety issue. You definitely could mod the bar to make it work easier I’m not going to. The wrist straps did come in handy here for the power block scenario tho bc it kept them from sliding off.

I love that these can act as sort of a spotter. I know there is no replacement for having a real live spotter but when you are solo this is definitely a better solution. Particularly if it is a heavier weight and it’s hard to solo it off the rack or ground. Speaking of the ground that’s the other reason I love these is that I can rest these on the bar behind me instead of stressing my shoulders and arms to get them back to the ground when I am on my back.
