Jaden Skiles –
Works great as a chest bench press. High enough for incline bench too, but not for decline. It’s somewhat wobbly but it’s stable enough for my purposes which is to lift weights. The most weight on the olympic bench bar I use is 200 pounds.

The stands are sturdy well made and can handle a lot of weight. Easy to assemble and since they’re separate you can easily stack them in a corner or out of the way.

I’ve been lifting for years and I finally decided to go with the independent bench press stands. I didn’t want to have two benches and I didn’t want to put a full bench together. I looked at all of the bench stands and these were the best price and the best product for my needs. I can move them closer in or farther out, and move them out of the way if I want to do flies.Once the plates are placed on the plate holders, these things are even more solid. These are not lightweight at all. These are sturdy and well-built. They go together easily too. It took about 30 minutes. The safety catches have adhesive rubber so they don’t get scratched up. They come with bar locks too. Most of it is already put together. All you have to do is attach the four stabilizers at the bottom of each stand, and slip the bar holders and safety catches into the tubes and you are done.A few tips: the instructions image show the bar locks with their threaded ends facing toward the user, but the written instructions say the threads should be pointed away from the user. Point them away from the user. Make sure you tighten the bolts tight enough to create solid unmoving structures. After putting weights on, I re-tightened the bolts to make sure no shifting in the bottom tubing would occur to avoid premature wear in the bolt areas.
