Purchased a s a gift for my husband. He loves how sturdy this is, and how wide it is. He likes that it is the perfect height for a 9” ceiling. (He is 6’1”.) He doesn’t like that it’s just a straight bar – he likes having the option to have bars going forward, too.

If you follow the directions and mount it on studs, it is rock solid. The bar is a little slippery but will wear-in over time.

I installed it with my 11 year old daughter. As long as you are accurate in finding the studs the installation isn’t too difficult. The bar feels great when doing the pull ups. My only negative is that the distance btwn the bar and the ceiling doesn’t need to be that long. If it was designed with 6 inch less distance then it’s would have been perfect because my ceiling is only 8.5 feet high. I am very glad that I spent the xtra bucks and purchased this one. My gym look awesome for p90x.

The box was barely held together with additional tape. Luckily, everything was intact and undamaged.This is a very sturdy pull up bar perfect for 10 foot ceilings or even 9 foot ceilings. The metal and welds are not perfectly square, so care must be taken when assembling so that you can get all the bolts started before you start tightening things down.The paint in the finish across the bar and the brackets seem to be a very high-quality. I would recommend this product.
