I bought this rack to hold my dumbbells safely and out the way and not take up much space. It satisfies. Here are few tips. Assemble all the parts together snugly but not tight. We made the mistake of bolting T made the mistake of bolting the legs tightly to the base before realizing, the legs must be pushed together to bolt to the cap. Use an appropriate size ratchet wrench to ease bolting the locknut to the bolt and frame. An appropriate open end or closed end wrench will work along with the supplied Allen wrench,However turning the bolt with the Allen wrench becomes difficult as you thread up the threads of the locking nuts. Remember to place your heavier dumbbells near the bottom of the rack to provide more security from the possibility of tipping the rack over. Not an inexpensive purchase but also not a cheap product.

I got this to hold the wife’s smaller dumbbells and it works good. Be cognizant of finger position when stowing the weights or you’ll pinch the hell out of your hand. All in all, I feel it was a good purchase.
