I got these to provide support while working out at the gym. I nave a nagging wrist injury that even when healed tends to get aggravated by using some of the weight machines at the gym. So much so that I had to stop some specific workouts. These wrist straps provide the support to take the strain off my wrists.For me the straps are the perfect length. I also like how they’re nice and wide. With the length being long enough for a couple of wraps and the width it really immobilizes my wrists.The material is quite thick and comfortable and the velcro is really strong so no problems with them staying secure. The thumb strap is just thin elastic so that could be improved for comfort. Of course you don’t have to use the thumb strap but it does make it easier putting them on as it anchors the start of the wrapping around your wrist.Unfortunately there are no included instructions or any literature at all. Just the straps in a zipper plastic bag. So you’re left with figuring them out all on your own.

I was hesitant to get these as I wasn’t sure the amount of pressure they would give. Would they be too much and be stiff or be uncomfortable or would they be not enough and provide no support. I was pleasantly surprised as was my son who lifts weights and his wrists were beginning to bother him. He was grinning when he tried these on and then was so excited to have me try them as well so I could lift and be safe too. I felt relief right when they began compressing my wrist and holding it stable. I have had cortisone shots in my wrists and these provided the extra support I needed. The elastic was not rough or stiff yet it was strong enough so that it wasn’t sloppy. Definitely glad we ordered these. It does wrap a few times around your wrist but it’s meant to do that for extra support and of course there is enough room if you have larger wrists too. Worth the investment for sure in order to not injure yourself.

These wrists wraps for stability when lifting weights are good.The tightness can be adjusted by moving the Velcro fasteners. They’re thick and sturdy but they give just enough to be comfortable.Quality is good as well as the price.
